Description
Frostbite is a small, sweet apple with red striping on a yellow skin. It has firm, juicy, cream-colored flesh, and is especially good for fresh eating and in cider.

History
Developed at the University of Minnesota in the 1920s, Frostbite was trademarked and released commercially in 2009. The trees are very cold hardy, but the apples do not store well.
