Apple-Cranberry Sauce

6 oz fresh or frozen cranberries (1/2 pkg)

4 large New England apples, cored, peeled, and diced

1/2 c water

3/4 c sugar

Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Simmer until apples are just tender.

Sauce will thicken and color will blend as it cools.
