Description
Spencer is a large, handsome, solid red or red blush over green, sweet-tart apple with crisp, juicy, greenish-white flesh. Although prized as fresh-eating apples, Spencers are excellent pie and sauce apples, as well. Spencers are not noted for a lengthy storage life, so enjoy them close to harvest in October.
