Description
Shiawassee is oblate in shape, red with some yellow-green and dark red streaks. Its medium crisp flesh is juicy, and it has a sweet, spicy flavor. It was described as being similar but inferior to McIntosh for its strong aroma, juiciness, and sweet-tart flavor.
