Description

Haralson is a crisp and juicy apple with white flesh and an aromatic pineapple or lime scent. This hardy apple keeps its shape when baked. A mild fresh-eating apple, it is also prized by cider and wine makers. Haralson is harvested in late September to early October.

History

Haralson was first grown in 1913 at the University of Minnesota and introduced commercially in 1923. Its heritage includes the variety Malinda.
