Description
Crimson Gold (the trademarked name of the European apple Svatava), is medium-sized, with red striping over yellow skin. Its cream-colored flesh is juicy and aromatic, with balanced sweet-tart flavor. A late season apple, it stores well.

History
Developed in the Czech Republic, Crimson Gold is not to be confused with an apple by the same name developed by apple breeder Albert Etter in 1944, a cross between a crabapple and an unnamed apple originally named Little Rosybloom.
