Description
Crow Egg is a medium-sized apple with red stripes over a yellowish skin. Its oval shape gave it its name. The dense white flesh has sweet-tart flavor, and it stores well for an early season variety.

Crow Egg was discovered by Abijah Fisher of Dedham, Massachusetts, and first cited in 1832. It is distinct from Crow’s Egg, a synonym for Sheep’s Nose in some Southern states.
